Welcome to PredatorVerse!

I've mentioned before that I just LOVE these guys! It's been a love affair that started when I was just a little girl of eight years, watching a horror flick I wasn't supposed to. But it didn't scare me...it THRILLED me! I was cheering on the awesome Predator from the moment I laid eyes on him. I might be slightly warped...but that's not the point here.

In the PredatorVerse blog category, I'll be talking about all things Yautja. For those of you who don't know, that's the generally accepted name for the Predator species. It's pronunciation is debated, but I prefer "Yawt'ya" or "Yawt'ja". I'm a southern girl, so that might have something to do with it... Given the other sounds we hear various Predators make in the films, this word is certainly one that they can pronounce, and it isn't contrary to the sounds we hear in the brief conversation between the two "hunters" in The Predator (TSG Entertainment and 20th Century Fox).

I'll talk about books, comics, movies, model kits, artwork, canon, Yautja species in general, and most anything else pertaining to them. There Will Be Spoilers. You have been warned.
